Caroline Junqueira
Affiliate Member of the Brazilian Academy of Sciences, Caroline Junqueira has a degree in Biological Sciences from PUC-MG, Master in Biochemistry from UFMG, PhD in Immunology from UFMG, Postdoctoral from the University of Notre Dame - USA and IRR / FIOCRUZ. She is currently an Investigador at IRR / FIOCRUZ, where she develops projects in Immunoparasitology and Cell Biology with emphasis on Plasmodium spp infections. and Trypanosoma cruzi, as well as projects in Cancer Immunology. In addition, she is an Associate Investigador at CT Vaccines Technology Development Center. She has in her curriculum several scientific awards, including the Great Prize CAPES of Thesis 2012, Great Prize UFMG of Thesis 2012 and Thereza Kipnis Award (Brazilian Society of Immunology).
