Allison has over 10 years experience in developing rapid tests from biomarkers to commercial product, including product development and evaluating technologies against analytical, feasibility, and operational criteria for their use in low resource healthcare settings. She has worked on development and piloting of quality assurance and benchmarking materials for supporting rapid diagnostics. She has experience with both point-of-care and laboratory diagnostic technologies for onchocerciasis, lymphatic filariasis, malaria, primary immunodeficiency, and covid-19. Her educational and professional background includes molecular biology, systems biology, and bioengineering.
